Factions run from Discord
Players create a faction, invite friends and pick a DayZ flag. Blxckforge can give everyone a [TAG] nickname and role, make a private channel for each faction and keep a shared treasury members pay into.
Territory control with flagpoles
Split the map into a grid. When a faction member finishes a flagpole inside a square, the server log shows it and the square becomes theirs. Until you've tested flagpoles on your server, each claim waits for staff to approve.
Take an enemy's flagpole down and the square becomes contested. Build your own in time and it's captured. You choose how long, whether staff confirm captures, and whether it only happens during raid windows.
- Private intruder alerts when hostile players are seen in a faction's square
- A live picture of the map in Discord, updated whenever a square changes
- Optional buying of squares from the faction treasury with /faction buy
- A public territory map on your server's page, if you want one
Honest about what the game allows
The game itself can't stop anyone building a flagpole, so ownership is your server's record kept by Blxckforge. Staff can assign, release and settle any square by hand, and every change is kept in a history.
