What it works with

A server economy gives players something to earn and spend between wipes. Most DayZ servers that have one rely on mods or staff keeping balances by hand.

What Server Economy does

  • Every player gets a wallet in the currency you name, with an optional starting balance
  • Pay players for PvP kills, hours played and achievements, straight from your server's logs
  • Players check /wallet and send each other money with /pay; you can set a death penalty
  • A trader: players browse /shop and /buy, your staff hand the item over in game and mark it delivered, and refunds go back to the wallet
  • Challenges with a goal, dates and a reward, announced in Discord, with progress on /challenges
  • Every movement in a ledger. Staff adjust balances with a reason, and unusually large movements are flagged for a look

Who it's for

Servers that want a reason to log in tomorrow: rewards for playing, things to save up for and events to chase.

Getting started

Part of the Server and Pro plans. Switch the economy on in the Community tab, name your currency and set the rewards. Bounties, factions and the trader all use the same wallets.

Common questions

Does the economy change items in game?

No. Wallets are virtual credits in your Blxckforge community. Trader orders are handed over in game by your staff, who then mark them delivered.

Does it need a mod?

No. Everything is read from the admin log Nitrado already keeps, so it works on vanilla PlayStation, Xbox and PC servers.

Can staff fix a wrong balance?

Yes. Staff can add or remove money with a reason, and every change is recorded in the ledger and the audit log.
