Factions

What it works with

Groups, clans and factions are the backbone of most DayZ servers, but keeping track of who is in which group, their ranks and the land they claim usually lives in spreadsheets and pinned messages.

What Factions does

• /faction create with a name and tag. Invited players get a message from the bot and accept or decline, and /faction invites shows what's waiting
• Leaders name their ranks, promote officers, hand over leadership, remove members and choose a DayZ flag
• Optional: Blxckforge adds the faction tag to members' Discord nicknames, and gives each faction its own role and private channel with a pinned guide
• A shared treasury: members deposit from their wallet, and leaders or officers buy territory with /faction buy
• A territory board in Discord that keeps itself up to date: which areas are for sale, who holds them and until when. It's a claim staff recognise; nothing changes in game
• /faction top ranks factions, and staff can edit or remove a faction from the website, which tidies away its roles and channels

Getting started

Part of the Server and Pro plans. Turn factions on in the Community tab, choose whether Blxckforge manages tags, roles and private channels, and mark the areas factions can buy.
