What it works with

`types.xml` is DayZ's central loot economy file. For every item in the game it sets how many should exist (nominal), how long they last before despawning (lifetime), how fast they restock, and where and how often they can spawn (usage, value tiers, flags).

What Types Editor does

  • Import an existing types.xml and show every entry in a searchable, sortable table
  • Edit nominal, lifetime, restock, min and quantity values inline, or across many rows at once
  • Flag likely mistakes, such as a lifetime shorter than restock, before you upload anything
  • Export a corrected types.xml that preserves any custom nodes or attributes your server adds
  • On the Server and Pro plans: load types.xml straight from your Nitrado server (including extra types files your cfgeconomycore.xml registers) and save it back with a diff, a confirmation, an automatic backup and a read-back check

Who it's for

Server owners tuning their loot economy: making rare gear rarer, fixing a broken restock, or cleaning up after a mod that added hundreds of new entries.

Getting started

Open, edit and export types.xml in your browser for free, no account needed. Loading from and saving to your Nitrado server is part of the Server and Pro plans.
