Spawnable Types Editor
What every item spawns with: damage, attachments and cargo, with presets and bulk chance scaling (cfgspawnabletypes.xml).
What it works with
`cfgspawnabletypes.xml` sits in your mission folder and decides what an item spawns with: the damage it starts at, what's already attached to a weapon, and what can be inside a container, either as listed items with chances or as presets from `cfgrandompresets.xml`.
What Spawnable Types Editor does
- Search and filter every type, then edit damage ranges, attachments and cargo without hand-editing nested XML
- Switch a group between listed items and a preset, add or remove items, and set each chance as a percentage
- Scale every group chance up or down at once for the types you've filtered
- Catch chances outside 0 to 100%, inverted damage ranges, groups mixing presets with items, and duplicate types
- Only the types you change are rewritten: comments, spacing and anything Blxckforge doesn't edit stay exactly as they were
- On the Server and Pro plans: load from your Nitrado server and save back with a diff, confirmation and automatic backup
Who it's for
Server owners tuning what weapons spawn with, how worn loot is, or what turns up in containers.
Getting started
Open your cfgspawnabletypes.xml or paste it in your browser and download the result, free. Loading from and saving to your Nitrado server is part of the Server and Pro plans.
Common questions
What's the difference between types.xml and cfgspawnabletypes.xml?
types.xml decides how many of an item exist and where they spawn. cfgspawnabletypes.xml decides what the item spawns with: its damage, attachments and anything inside it.
How do I make guns spawn with attachments?
Add an attachments group to the weapon's type, list the attachments or pick a preset, and set the chance. Save and restart the server.
Will it change parts of the file I didn't edit?
No. Only the types you change are rewritten. Comments, spacing and everything else stay exactly as they were.
