Globals
Infected and animal numbers, loot condition, cleanup times, logout timers and territory flags, every setting explained. Pro saves globals.xml straight to your server.
What it works with
`globals.xml` sits in your mission's db folder and sets the Central Economy's server-wide numbers: how many infected and animals roam, what condition loot spawns in, how long bodies and items stay, login and logout timers, and how often territory flags need raising.
What Globals does
- Start from a feel (Vanilla, Chilled PvE, Fast PvP or Hardcore) and fine-tune
- Set infected and animal numbers on a crowd that fills up, with a warning before it hurts performance
- Choose loot condition on a band from pristine to badly damaged
- See cleanup times on a timeline, and logout, login and hop timers as countdowns
- Plan territory flags on a calendar
- Every setting explained in plain English; settings from mods are kept as they are
- On the Server and Pro plans: load globals.xml from your Nitrado server and save it back with a diff, confirmation and automatic backup
Who it's for
Server owners balancing how busy, how dangerous and how forgiving their server feels.
Getting started
Open your file or start from DayZ's default in your browser and download the result, free and no account needed. Loading from and saving to your Nitrado server is part of the Server and Pro plans.
Common questions
I changed something but nothing happened.
globals.xml is read when the server starts. Restart your server after saving.
Can I undo a save?
Yes. Each save backs up the previous file. Open Backups, load one and save it again.
